Excerpt: South Carolina basketball signee Collin Murray-Boyles (Columbia/Wasatch Academy) received a bit of a bump in the 247Sports Player Rankings for the 2023 class. Murray-Boyles, who is still a three-star prospect, saw his rating jump from 87 to 88, and is now ranked as the No. 146 player in the country.

247Sports only ranks the top 150 players in the country. Prior to his ratings bump, Murray-Boyles held a 0.8838 rating in the 247Sports Composite, which made him the No. 210 player nationally.

Murray-Boyles, who attended A.C. Flora High School until this year, is one member of the current two-man signing class for South Carolina. First-year head coach Lamont Paris and his staff currently have one scholarship still to give, but did not find any players who could come in at the break.
